CHELSEA 1-0 UNITED: FIVE MATTERS ARISING FROM THE BATTLE AT THE BRIDGE.

Manchester United continued their Stamford Bridge "Palava" this evening as a lone goal from Alvaro Morata once again gave Chelsea a home victory.

Here are five Matters arising from this clash:

1. IT'S MOURINHO vs MKHITARYAN
At this point, it is fair to say that "If Mourinho does not sack Mkhitaryan, Mkhitaryan will sack Mourinho".

In the last 5 games or more, Mkhi has made United play like a team with 10 men. Zero assists in 2 months, but Mou keeps starting him like he has no choice.

Its time to agree with fans who have been asking for Mkhi to be put on the bench with 2 strong seat belts and Airbags.

2. CHRIS 'OKONTA'  SMALLING DIDN'T DISAPPOINT.
Smalling was given the sweeper role in a 3-man defence today and didn't disappoint the fans. As expected, he put up another 'Shaky-Shaky Daddy' performance.

He was lost most of the time, sweeping and marking shadows. We can't wait for Marcus 'Odegbami' Rojo to return.

3. VACANCY! VACANCY!! VACANCY!!!
Manchester United urgently require the services of a No10, and a right winger. Before now, only the right winger vacancy was available. Mkhitaryan has made it two. To add insult to injury, Mata's form has also dipped.

Lukaku is a poacher, who requires service. This has become non-existent with Mikhi's poor form as he has become a big pot-hole in United's transition from defensive to attacking play.

4. CALAMITOUS DEFENDING GAVE CHELSEA THE DAY
Eric 'Olusegun' Bailly, Phil 'Osaze' Jones and our Chris 'Okonta' Smalling presented Alvaro Morata with a fine gift wrapped in a beautiful shining paper.

How on earth he was left free in between a 3-man defence will remain a mystery. Of course, he received it with an 'OshĂȘ Baba' and nodded home past a helpless De Gea.....Poor defensive organisation today.

5. GRINDING STONE FOOTBALL.
Without Paul 'Ikenna' Pogba, Manchester United have struggled. Even matches won have been like "Tomatoes blended with a grinding stone'.

No swagger, no style, no identity. Today again, the team struggled.....Is there no 'Aboniki' to apply on that his injury to make the healing faster?

IN THE END, It was a very sad loss. Fellaini showed some match rustiness initially, but almost gave United the equaliser. We hope we do not suffer anymore setbacks as per injury during the international break.

UP NEXT, Newcastle after the International break.

OPINION POLL :
Who is to blame for this sad loss?
