UNITED 2-1 ANDERLECHT (AGG 3-2). WHAT WE LEARNT : YAKUBU AIYEGBENI VISITED OLD TRAFFORD.

Manchester United took a gallop-filled road into the semi-final of the Europa league. Here are Five(5) things we learnt from this adrenaline soaked encounter.

1. UNITED NEED A "WASTE MANAGEMENT BOARD".
In a familiar style, United was so wasteful in front of goal today, squandering many chances that were unbelievable. Many fans probably asked themselves- 'What must we do to be saved?'

2. YAKUBU AIYEGBENI VISITED OLD TRAFFORD IN ZLATAN COLOURS.

Zlatan our talk-na-do striker had a horrible time at Old Trafford against the Belgian side today. He missed chances that were more difficult to miss- Reminiscent of Super Eagles 'Yakubu Aiyegbeni'. He has been fantastic for United this season; today would need to be deleted from his Season.

3. PAUL 'IKENNA' POGBA WAS NEARLY BETRAYED.
The £89million man  put in one of his best performances in a Red shirt, spraying sweet passes all across the pitch like perfume. He created so many chances begging to be converted, bossed the midfield, and won vital tackles, and had a goal disallowed. If United had lost today, it would have been a betrayal of such a brilliant display.

4. WIZKID MARCUS "RASHIDI-YEKINI" TO THE RESCUE.
Rashford wrote his name in gold and diamond in the heart of United fans after a "Grammy award winning" performance. His pace and energy was 'visible' to the blind and audible to the deaf. He saved United a major heartbreak today which would have been worse than all  that Arsenal has suffered in the last 8 years put together.

5. TWO KNEES WERE SACRIFICED FOR THIS VICTORY.
The hard - earned victory today was stained with potential season-ending knee injuries  to Rojo and Zlatan. With Zlatan being the leading goal scorer and Bailly the only central defender left in the squad, this Price was too expensive for the victory.

.....IN THE END, it was a performance which had many fans holding their hearts in their hands, but a needed victory. It was good to see Luke Shaw back to his good self. UP NEXT, BURNLEY, SAME TIME, SAME STATION, ON SUNDAY.

GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.
