United 5-2 Bournemouth: 5 Things We Learnt As United Burnt Bournemouth

Goals were flying all over Old Trafford this afternoon like Naira notes being sprayed in a Naija wedding. It was a 5-star performance from United which made fans shine their '32' throughout the game.

Here are 5 things #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from the 5-star display:

1. MASON 'BAZUKA' GREENWOOD
His shots are indeed like a 'Bazuka'; they have no respect for goalkeepers and they always dance 'one-corner' at the back of the net whether played with his left or right foot.

Our 18-year old 'Shakiti-bobo', Greenwood, produced an excellent brace today, (left foot first half and right foot second half)to take his tally to 8 EPL  goals and 15goals in total for United this season......"Ooin, he is doing well!!"

2. 20+20
Anthony 'Ikechukwu'Martial and Marcus 'Rashidi-Yekini' scored a goal each today to take their goals to 20 each. They thus became the first pair since 2012/13  season to score 20 goals each in a season after Berbatov and Chicarito!

Infact, together with Mason, our M.M.M (Martial-Marcus-Mason) have now scored 55 goals this season......"Ooin, they are doing well"

3. MARCUS 'RASHIDI' YEKINI
United's 'whiz-kid' has looked off since his return from injury. Despite his 2 assists, he has struggled with his form.

He appears to be unhappy not to have scored a goal and so was happy to convert the penalty which made him the first English player to score 20 goals in a season for United since  Wayne Rooney in 2011/12.

We hope that goal ends his 'lockdown'.

4. RETURN OF THE SWAGGER
The United team at the moment look totally different and rebranded. The confidence is back, the goals are flowing, the shots are flying in, the flicks, tricks and run-ins behind defences are back and fans are happy.

Indeed, the ginger and swagger is back at United. The work of picking the man of the match  or goal of the day was very difficult today as great goals were all over the place.

5. POGBA OF FRANCE
Paul 'Ikenna' Pogba put in another fine display in the heart of midfield today. He was unlucky not have been on the scoresheet himself.

His current play is reminiscent of the Pogba who plays for France- simple, disciplined and purposeful play with little or no flamboyance.....strictly business!!
As we say in Naija, 'Nna mehn, carry go!'.

IN THE END, Olè's ministry continues to move to the permanent site. A little sad to have conceded 2 goals at Old Trafford today after over 500 minutes of clean sheet on the ground. But as we say in Naija, "nothing spoil!"

Kudos to Bruno 'Oliseh' Fernandes who added another pair of assists and a goal with a 'sweet dodo' freekick. Amazing guy!
