Solskjaer's Latest Team Update; Injury News And Likely Line-up

Manchester United's quest to break into the top four is set to continue with a clash against Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford.

Brief reminder; Chris Hughton's Brighton side ran away with a 3-2 victory when they faced United earlier in the season.

The Red Devils step into the match on the back of a 'sugar-Kane' victory against Tottenham Hotspurs, which saw Solskjaer and his men run out with a 0-1 victory at Wembley.

In line with customs and traditions of the land, Ole 'Ugonna' Solskjaer held a press conference on Friday where he updated the press on the latest team news alongside injury updates on the squad.

"No there's not many issues", Solskjaer said when speaking at the Aon complex on Friday. "I think there are small niggles as there are always are at this time of the season. Chris, Marcos just started running lightly so they're not fit yet.

"Alexis has trained all week so hopefully he comes through the session today and w…

TOTTENHAM 0-1 UNITED: FIVE THINGS WE LEARNT AS OLE 'SMASHED' HIS FIRST BIG TEST

It was a beautiful Sunday evening at Wembley as United made it 6 wins in 6 games after a thrilling encounter against Tottenham.

Here are five things #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from this super victory:

1. NEW UNITED, NEW RASHFORD.
Manchester United look like a 'newborn' team. The boys are happy, confident and motivated.

Marcus 'Rashidi-Yekini' in like manner, looks like fresh 'suya' from the fire, too hot to handle!!

He scored his 40th goal for United today and has now scored in 3 consecutive games for the first time in his career.

2. 'POGBA THE VIRUS!!!'
The French 'Swaggerlicious' midfielder who was labelled a virus, has proven to be a real virus, not to United but to all opponents.

His pass to Rashford for the goal was simply 'Chivita-stic'. He now has 4 goals and 4 assists in 6 games for Solskjaer......May all 'anti-viruses' tremble!!!

3. FROM MIS-FIT TO BEST-FIT
Our 'Jollof' defender, Victor Lindelof, had a horrid start to h…

Solskjaer Has Already Made His Best Manchester United Signing

Ole 'Ugonna' Solskjaer has already made his best signing according to former player, Paul Parker.

Parker, who donned the United shirt between 1991 and 1996, believes Solskjaer has made a perfect choice which is crucial to United's improvement going forward. In an interview with talkSPORT, Paul Parker stated; "Mike Phelan may be the best signing the Manchester United have made, him coming back, he should never have been allowed to leave in the first place when David Moyes came in. That was a massive mistake by David Moyes.
"But he's back now and someone like him, who worked with Sir Alex and knows about the club as well, it is as important off the pitch as it is on it.
"Micky Phelan makes the big, big difference sitting next to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Phelan seems the most vocal in the technical area? Oh, without a doubt."

'Igwe' Ferguson's former right-hand man returned with Solskjaer after Jose Mourinho was relieved of his duties on Dec…

Newcastle United 0-2 New-ManUnited: 5 Things We Learnt From The 2019 Take-off

Manchester United launched 2019 with a clash against Newcastle United. It was a perfect start for Solskjaer's squad as Rafa Benitez and his boys were blown away thanks to goals from Rashford and Lukaku.

Here are five things #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from 2019 take-off.
1. PARK THE BUS FORMATION. Newcastle came into the game with fear and trembling. They brought a very big bus with them and parked it in front of their goal post.
It was nice watching a game in which a bus was parked but not by Manchester United.
2. BENDING IT LIKE CR-7. Our 'whiz-kid', Marcus 'Rashidi-Yekini' once again rattled the Newcastle goalkeeper with his free-kick which is improving daily. He took it well, bent it like CR-7 and it was too hot to handle.

His finish for the 2nd goal was unlike him; super calm. The Solskjaer effect is gradually taking effect.
3. LIKE SOLSKJAER LIKE SUPER SUB In his playing days, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was 'Igwe' Ferguson's super sub.He has brought that sp…

GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.

Bournemouth 1-2 United; 5 Things We Learnt From The Victory at the Vitality Stadium.

Manchester United paid a visit to the Cherries for a match day 11 clash at the Vitality Stadium.
An initial 'gra-gra' saw Bournemouth score in the first 10 minutes. However  a Fergie-time comeback ensured that Manchester United came out victorious.

Here are five(5) things #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from the clash:
1. UNITED LOVE THE VITALITY STADIUM
Before today, Bournemouth's last defeat at the Vitality Stadium was against Manchester United in April.  In addition, United have won their last two visits to the Vitality Stadium with an aggregate of 5-1.

Today, despite United's poor form, the Vitality stadium luck shone again and the complete 3 points were taken in 'Fergie-time'.
2. PAINFUL 30 MINUTES
The first  30 minutes of the first half was a horror movie. It was painful to watch United. Bournemouth converted the game to a practice session.

We chased the ball like children trying to  catch a butterfly. There was no shape,  no rhythm, we were one goal down and did n…

BREAKING NEWS: ENGLISH FA GIVES ANOTHER MOURINHO VERDICT

Following United's dramatic 3-2 comeback against Newcastle, Josè Mourinho appeared to have made abusive/improper remarks to a television camera as he walked down the tunnel. He was subsequently charged by the English FA.

Following investigations, the FA has determined that the charges could not be proven.
In an official statement, the FA stated that  "A charge against Jose Mourinho for allegedly using language which was abusive and/or insulting and/or improper has been found not proven following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today [31/10/18],".

"It related to an incident at the end of the Manchester United versus Newcastle United game on 6 October 2018. Written Reasons for the decision of the Independent Regulatory Commission will be published in due course. This decision is subject to appeal".

It had been rumoured that Josè was to be sacked had United lost to Newcastle. However the boys turned in a vintage Fergie-like comeback, winning 3-2.

FA Metes Out Punishment for Mourinho vs Chelsea Coach Combat

Chelsea's assistant coach Marco Ianni has been fined £6000 for his 'over-sabi' (exuberant) celebration of Ross Barkley's last minute equalizer for Chelsea two weeks ago.

The 'gori-makpa'(bald-headed) coach jumped in front of Mourinho in wild celebration after the goal and immediately almost got beaten by a furious Josè Mourinho.

He was lucky that stewards were quick to hold him back, otherwise, the football match would have been converted to a royal rumble!
Thankfully, despite Mourinho's reaction, the English FA ruled that the conduct of Coach Ianni was inappropriate and was therefore fined £6000!!

We hope the coach has learnt a lesson and will learn to obey the popular Naija saying; "Dey your lane".

GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.

United 2-1 Everton: 5 Things We Learnt As United Evaporated Everton.

Manchester United welcomed Everton, her favourite 'customer' in the history of the EPL to Old Trafford for another clash on matchday 10.

Here are five(5) things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt today:

1. 'MARTIAL ARTS'
Anthony "Ikechukwu' Martial put up another dazzling display today. He was a consistent 'Chuku-chuku' (thorn) in the flesh of the Everton defenders.

He iced his performance with a 'COKE-astic' goal, after gifting United a penalty in the first half. We want more of 'this Martial'.

2. POGBA: THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY.
United's 'Swaggerlicious' midfielder had a game with all shades today.
From almost missing a penalty, through being at fault for Everton's goal, to finally assisting Martial for his second goal, the French man had it all today.

It appears Pickford came ready for him as he denied him severally with some really good saves.

3. ALEXIS NEEDS A SEAT BELT
Though sad and still unbelievable, the exile of  Alexis &…

Potential United Line-up vs Everton Following José's Latest Press Conference.

Manchester United are set to return to action against Everton in the English Premier League, following their midweek defeat in the UEFA Champions League.

United overcame Everton with a 'FOUR-chester United' display at Old Trafford last season, and will be looking to bounce back from their midweek fall at the hands of the Ronaldo-led Biaconneri with a similar result.

In line with customs and traditions, José 'Uchenna' Mourinho gave the latest team news alongside injury updates in his pre match press conference on Friday.

According to the boss, United are set to be without Alexis Sanchez yet again who has failed to recover from his injury, along with Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, and Maroanne Fellaini. However, a late decision is set to made regarding Jesse 'Awilo' Lingard's involvement in the clash, with the English midfielder returning to full first team training during the week.
