Everton 1-1 United: 5 Things We Learnt As United Slipped At Goodison Park

It was a tough afternoon at Goodison park as Manchester United and Everton settled for a 1-1 draw. It was a drama-filled encounter at the end with Everton Boss Carlo Ancelotti picking up a red card after 90minutes.

Here's what #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from the Sunday afternoon draw:

1. VILLAGE PEOPLE AGAIN
How our dear David 'Osinachi' De Gea gave such an assist to Calvert-Lewin was beyond imagination. Unbelievable to say the least.

We can only explain it in a Naija way- 'very strong village people!!'. They obviously came today in a coconut shell, carrying all their drums. Well, it's one of those days in football.

2. BEST SIGNING SO FAR
Following the end of the January transfer window, VAR has turned out to be United's best signing so far. 'He' has saved us so many points, including the one today....though rightfully so.

We only pray 'he' doesn't score an own goal against us soon.

3. BRUNO 'OLISEH' FERNANDES
The Portuguese has been terrific for Manchester United. As in his last four games, he was the man of the match today!!
He had 6 shots, 3 on target and a goal that can best be described as as a 'SHAKA-BOOM'!!!

At this rate, a chieftaincy title awaits you Bruno!! Keep it up. We need more 'shaka-booms'.

4. NEMANJA 'AGU' MATIC
The midfield lion was not FANTA-stic today. He put in an ORIJIN-al performance. Absolutely brilliant. He gave Bruno the assist and was unluckily denied by the cross-bar.

He deserved a goal today. Kudos to him and his crew of Scot and Fred.

5. A GAME OF TWO HALVES
It was indeed a game of two halves at Goodison park. United had a terrific first half, responding well to De Gea's howler.

They however lost the steam in the second half and could have been beaten by Everton for the second time this season.

FINALLY,  "It have tay" that Everton has been a problem for United, dating back from the era of Baba 'Fergie' vs David Moyes.
Sadly, United once again missed a golden opportunity to close the top-four gap. The struggle continues.

GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.......OLUWA IS INVOLVED.
