OFFICIAL: AARON WAN-BISSAKA COMPLETES UNITED MOVE.

Manchester United have announced the purchase of another 'tear-rubber-new-chassis' signing in Crystal Palace right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka for a fee of €55m on a five year deal, with a one year extension clause.

Wan-Bissaka becomes United's second signing of the rather slow summer transfer window, following the signing of Swansea speedster, Daniel James for £15m.

The young fullback arrives United on the back of a phenomenal season which saw him crowned Crystal Palace's Player of the 2018/2019 Season.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s 2018/2019 Premier League season by numbers:
• most tackles won by a defender (129)
• best tackle success rate by a full-back (94%)
• most interceptions by a defender (84)
• most successful take-ons by a defender (61)

The England U21 right back is reportedly set to take home £80,000 per week.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka on joining @ManUtd  “It’s an unbelievable feeling and an honour to call myself a Manchester United player and something I know that only a small number of players have the privilege to say."

"I can’t wait to get going and integrated into the squad."

We do hope United's recruitment personnel continue the good work and complete the other important signings before the close of the the transfer window. Two signings may not be enough to get United to where they are supposed to be. In Naija, we say "Na co-operation make rice dey full pot."

May he continue in good form, and may he continue to spoil the blues of opposition attackers with his reggae.

 GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.
