Leicester 0-1 United: 5 Things We Learnt As United Beat Leicester.

It was the 10th game as United's caretaker boss and he came out unscathed. All that was needed to get the 3 points was a superb finish from our own 'whiz-kid'.

Here are five things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from this clash:

1. THE LAST MAN STANDING
Since Solskjaer's takeover, virtually every player has shown remarkable improvement in output and confidence.

Watching Alexis today, he doesn't seem to have keyed into the new life in the team. He was low in confidence, unwilling to take on his man or make those runs into the box. Martial made more impact in 20minutes than he did in 70 minutes.

2. 'POWER BANK' MIDFIELD NEEDED
Solskjaer has since chosen midfield 'collabo': Matic-Herrera-Pogba. They have been great together, but we need a back-up, a reliable 'Power bank'.

Today, Pogba was visibly tired but the boss couldn't take the risk of pulling him out. Fred and Perreira need to step up.

3. DAVE SAVES AGAIN
He is not the best goalkeeper in Europe. He is certainly not the best goalkeeper in the world. He is the best goalkeeper in all the planets and his name is David 'Osinachi' De Gea.

Today as usual, he made some 'Chivita-stic' saves especially the 2nd half free-kick which should have been dancing 'one-corner'at the back of the net.

4. MARCUS 'RASHIDI-YEKINI'
The young lad is certainly learning the striking ropes very fast from the former baby-faced assassin, Solskjaer. He has been calm and deadly at the same time in front of goal.

His goal today which was a 'photocopy' of that against Tottenham, was fantastic. Kudos to Pogba for the delightful pass which went through the defence like knife through butter.

5. VICTORIOUS LINDELOF
The Swede has become truly reborn under the new boss . Like musical tracks, he has released amazing hit 'defensive singles' back to back.

Today, he was able to keep Vardy(who loves to score United) quiet. Kudos to his partners, Bailly, Ashley and Shaw for their show today.

...IN THE END, it may not have been a fantastic performance, but 3 points and a clean sheet to ice the cake made it 10/10 for the new boss..

Hey, don't say I told you, but top-four no longer seems like a fantasy......Ole! Ole!! Ole!!!
