Chelsea 0-2 United: Five Things We Learnt As United Chased Chelsea Out Of The FA Cup

Manchester United continued their acting in the FA cup movie titled 'The Hard way', as they dished out another red card to a top premier league team, Chelsea.

2 brilliant crosses met with 2 'fanta-wonderful' headers were just enough to take us to the quarter final.

Here are five things #ManUtdNaijaFM  learnt from the lovely win:

1. THE 'VIRUS' IS SPREADING
The 'Pogba-virus' has continued to spread and Chelsea did not have a vaccine for it today. Tonight, he attacked again, starting with a 'Jollof' cross to Herrera for the 1st goal and flying into Rashford's cross for a 'Suya' header into the net.

He now has 9 goals and 7 assists since Olè took over.

2. DIAMOND 4-4-2, WIDE FORWARDS.
With Lingard and Martial out injured, the new boss approached the Chelsea game with this brilliant formation.

It was an all out attack formation with Mata given the number 10 role and Herrera allowed to go forward more often. This paid off as Herrera kept knocking on the Chelsea goal till they opened the door.

3. FAITH IN ROMERO
It was lovely seeing Romero given the starting spot in goal, despite the class of the opposition in such a game. It's nice seeing United give him these opportunities.

Time and time again, he has proved to be the perfect back-up goalkeeper, our De Gea 'power bank'. He made 2 wonderful saves from Luiz and Pedro in the 1st half.

4. ANDER 'AKINBODE' HERRERA
The buzzing baby-faced midfield warrior has been superb since Solskjaer's takeover. Tonight, he was given the forward license and he thoroughly deserved the goal.

He was unmarked for the goal as he was an 'August visitor' in the box. The Chelsea defence wasn't expecting him there.

5. MATIC DESERVES KUDOS.
With Hererra's forward movement tonight, Matic had it all to the in the defensive midfield role. Being on yellow card so early in the game, he deserves huge kudos for keeping calm throughout the game to avoid a red card.

I honestly thought Ole will pull him out, but he stayed on and saw the game through. Fantastic performance.

IN THE END, It seems United are cruising through London as this is the 1st time since 1984/85 season that we have beaten Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea away from home in a single season.

KUDOS to Lindelof and his crew for the clean sheet.....sparkling white!!
