United 2-1 Brighton: 5 Things We Learnt As United Beat Brighton

Manchester United hosted Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford for the 6th Premier league game under new boss Ole 'Ugonna' Solskjaer.

It ended with another victory for the 'reborn' boys  as United gave one goal to Brighton and another to Hove Albion.

Here are five things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from this 7th victory:

1. HISTORIC MARCUS RASHFORD.
United's 'whiz-kid' made his 150th appearance as a United player today. He marked it with a beautiful goal after sending the Brighton defender to 'buy gala' with that fine dribble.

He also became the youngest Manchester United player in history to score in 4 consecutive premier league games

2. NO FINISHING PRATICES BEFORE NOW.
Watching the calmness and precision in Rashford's finishing nowadays, the influence of the new boss and former baby-faced assassin, Solskjaer,  is obvious.

He has gradually moved from the 'anywhere-bele-face' striker to a clinical finisher.

With 5 goals in 6 premier league games, the boy is on fire and goal keepers may need to wear ice-block gloves to keep him from scoring.

It appears that under the former boss, there were no finishing training sessions, maybe just learning how to park a big bus.

3. YOUNG DESERVES CAPTAINCY
United's dressing room DJ, Ashley Young, wore the arm band again today at Old Trafford. His commitment to the club has been amazing.

He started as a left wing forward, and is now United's John O'shea, slotting into any lacking position and giving  100% anyday, anytime. He deserves to be captain.

4. IT'S PAY BACK TIME
It appears the time has come for all teams who earned 3 points from United in the 1st half of the season to return it.

Tottenham started last week and today, Brighton(who won 3-2 in August) paid back in full. I guess it may be better for such teams to return the 3 points before we ask for it!!

5. THE 'PRODIGAL' FEAR FACTOR.
Fear factor took off on a prodigal journey from Old Trafford, a long long time ago. Teams came attacking and 'showing themselves' as we say in Naija.

But with 6 straight victories and 16 goals scored, I think that like a prodigal son, fear factor shall return to Old Trafford and teams will come with their 'tails between their legs'.

IN THE END, the Solskjaer fairy tale continued with his 7th straight win, the 1st in United's history.
Kudos to Diogo Dalot for slotting in well in the left back position and getting an assist.
