Pogba Reveals the 8 Midfielders He Watches To Improve His Game

Manchester United's 'swaggerlicious' midfielder, Paul Pogba has revealed the other midfielders he watches to improve his game.

The Frenchman has been enjoying a 'born again' life in the Ole 'Ugonna' Solskjaer ministry, following his deliverance from the "dressing room virus" tag pronounced on him by ex boss José Mourinho. The newly found freedom has seen him contribute at least 1 goal or assist in every one of his appearances under Solskjaer so far (5goals and 4 assists).

In an interview with Astro Sport, the Manchester United academy graduate revealed that he loves watching  football as much as he likes playing.

"I love football, I love watching players and maybe people will be surprised. When I was younger I used to look up to strikers but now I’m a midfielder I look up to midfield players."

"I learn from Yaya Toure, Iniesta, Xavi, Scholes, Carrick. I love to look at midfielders to make myself a Paul Pogba with all the best qualities of the other ones."

Aside from the old timers, United's no 6 also dropped a list of modern day midfield stars he watches as well.

"I look at De Bruyne, Modric, Kroos. I love looking at them and I try to learn from them," Pogba told Astro Sport.

It is interesting to hear the star midfielder admit that he's still learning, even from those like him still playing, such as Kevin De Bruyne.

At this pace, he might just be on the fast lane to legendary status, for on his day, he is already arguably the best centre midfielder in the world.
