United 2-2 Arsenal: Five Things We Learnt

Manchester United welcomed old time foes Arsenal to Old Trafford. It became a 'Score me I score you' encounter as United came from behind twice, thanks to goals from Martial and Lingard.

These are five things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from this clash.

1. A BIRTHDAY OF MIXED FEELINGS.
Anthony 'Ikechukwu' Martial turned 23 yesterday and got a goal to celebrate it. It was a great feeling.

However he limped off injured in what looked like a hamstring injury, which smeared his almost perfect birthday.

2. SOME CAME TO PLAY, OTHERS TO PRAY.
Looking at the line-up of both teams and the style of play thereafter, their plans were crystal clear.

Arsenal came thinking of how to crush United, while United came to defend and pray against all Arsenal 'principalities and powers'.

3. DIOGO DALOT
The new signing got a rare start at right back got a rare start at right back. He looked tidy for most of the game. However, he needs to be quicker in decision making.

On more than one occasion, the young lad played like he was asking himself, "What shall I do with this ball now"?

4. NUMBER 8!!
With the draw against Arsenal, Manchester United are sitting(with SEAT BELT) in  a very relaxed 8th position and are 8 points away from 4th position.

5. MARCUS "ODEGBAMI" ROJO
The Argentine defender playing his first game of the season started brightly.Sadly, in one brief moment of miscalculation,  he laid a very sweet through pass to Aubameyang and the rest was history.

He tried to make up by setting up Lingard's equalizer(his first goal in 27 matches), but Josè was done with him and he was immediately subbed off

IN THE END, it was another 2 points dropped, and indeed another gloomy day for United fans. But we are confident that as Naija people say,  "E go better".

 GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.
