United 0-0 Crystal Palace: 5 Worrying Stats After Another Frustrating Draw.

Hoping to bounce back from the humiliation at Etihad in the hands of Manchester city, United welcomed Crystal Palace to Old Trafford hoping to redeem her image.

Here are five(5) disturbing stats that have emerged following this home draw:

1. FIRST EVER FOR CRYSTAL PALACE
Crystal palace got their first point at Old Trafford for the first time in their history. This was the 19th meeting between both sides at Old Trafford in Premier league history.

2. WORST PREMIER LEAGUE START
With 21 points from 12 matches, this is United's worst start to a Premier league season in 28 years!!

3. JUST BEHIND SOUTHAMPTON
With today's goalless draw, Manchester United have now played 10 goalless draws since Josè Mourinho became Manager in July 2016. Only Southampton have more more goalless draws within this period (15).
At least we are 2nd on a table.

4. MIDDLE OF THE 'OCEAN'
Manchester United are now 14 points off the top spot and 13 points off relegation. We are indeed in the middle of the Premier league 'ocean'.....I hope we don't drown.

5. ROMELU LUKAKU

United's Striker-in-chief has now failed to score a goal in 12 consecutive home Premier league  matches for Manchester United, and has failed to score in his last 9 straight games.
Meanwhile, he has remained prolific for Belgium.

IN THE END, Using the popular Naija debate style, it's fair to say that "With these few points of mine, I hope I have been able to convince and not confuse you that Manchester United cannot continue like this".

The Only good thing about today's result was that De Gea marked his 250th appearance for United with a clean sheet...Happy for him.
