Juventus 1-2 United: Five(5) Things We Learnt From Another Great Comeback

It was a glorious night at Turin, as Manchester United in a typical Naija fashion, 'put pepper into Juventus eye'. For the second consecutive game, United snatched victory in Fergie-time; Say hello to the new Comeback kings!!

Here are five(5) things #ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from this super comeback:

1. DE GEA VS RONALDO
Having scored a hatrick against our own 'Osinachi' De Gea at the world cup, CR-7 did it again with a fantastic volley. It was indeed a beauty.

The most interesting part of the goal was De Gea's reaction. He looked at Ronaldo and looked at the ball inside his net and seemed to say 'Na lie!'.....Well, thank God De Gea had the last laugh.

2. ANOTHER JUAN-TASTIC FREE KICK.
For the 10th time in his career, Juan 'Bankole' Mata scored a 'Hossana' free-kick. It was beautiful seeing the ball dancing 'One-corner dance' inside the Juventus goal.

Juan Mata seems to have oiled his free-kick boots and at this rate, if United have a free-kick and Mata is on the bench, the game will be paused for a substitution.

3. SPOT ON SUBS.
Josè Mourinho brought in three subs- Mr Headbanger 'Oga Fela', Mata and Rashford and the impact was inch perfect today.

Mata curled in the free-kick, while Oga Fela's header forced an own goal in a magical 3 minutes, 30 seconds!!
It would have been a perfect 3 if Rashford had scored his 1-on-1 chance in the 92nd minute.

4. STABLE BACK-FOUR.
The back-four of Young, Smalling, Lindelof, and Shaw seem to be Josè's anointed. Indeed, they have been fairly consistent over the past few games.

Clearly, the quality is lacking, but with improved chemistry between them, results will show. Our 'Jollof' defender Lindelof was particularly impressive again last night. Kudos to him.

5. HISTORY NIGHT.
Prior to yesterday, Juventus had not conceded a single goal in the Champions league this season. But they 'chop' two last night.

Since 2009, Juventus have not lost a champions league group game. United ensured they lost yesterday.

For the 1st time since leaving the club, our legend Cristiano Ronaldo lost to Manchester United.

Indeed, it was a night to remember, a night of history making.

IN THE END, having beaten us at Old Trafford in the 1st leg, Manchester United did to Juventus what we call in Naija 'do me I do you, God no vex'.

UP NEXT, The Manchester Derby!!
