West Ham 3-1 United: 3 Matters Arising As West Ham Hammered United.

While tying to recover from the Derby County blow, United received a West Ham 'Hammer' in the early kickoff of match day 7.
Rashford and Lindelof were on the score sheet but both were not for United as Lindelof netted for the opposition.

Here are 3 matters arising from this loss:

1. FEAR FACTOR TOTALLY GONE
Similar to the Derby clash, West Ham approached the game with a fearless attitude, what we call in Naija language "Nothing de happen".

Teams no longer fear Manchester United. West Ham who have won only one game this season made United look like Bendel Insurance of the Naija Premier league.

2. NO STYLE, NO PLAN, NO FIRST XI.
Watching United in recent times including today, one thing is crystal clear; there is no unique style of play, there is no plan on how to score when United is attacking and José does not know his best XI or formation.

It appears the tactics is " Just try, just do your best, God will be with you".

3. UNBELIEVABLE DECISIONS FROM JOSÉ
José Mourinho made some calls today that were shocking:

He played a 5-man defence against bottom placed West Ham!!! West Ham, not Bayern Munich!

Scot McTominay a potential central/attacking midfielder was played in central defence while Eric Bailly was on the bench.

As if a 5-man defence was not bad enough, he played Matic and Fellaini in central midfield, making it 7 defensive players  on the pitch....The midfield was as 'Flexible' as a bamboo stick.

Trailing 2 goals behind, Pogba and the only goal threat in the team Martial were replaced by Mata (who has not scored up to 5 EPL goals since last season) and new signing Fred, a central midfielder......What was the plan?

IN THE END, it was another shocking but well deserved loss.  Officially, this United's worst start to a league season in 28 years!!
At this rate, the Moyes days are loading again and  choruses of #JoseOut are going to get louder and louder.
