WATFORD 1-2 UNITED: 5 Things We Learnt From The Victory at Vicarage Road

With Watford flying high this season with 4 wins out of 4, Manchester United paid them a visit and succeeded in pressing 'Pause' in their flight. 2 goals from Lukaku and Smalling was enough to do the damage.

Here are 5 things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from the victory at Vicarage road.

1. LIKE ZLATAN, LIKE SMALLING
United's 'shaky-shaky daddy', Chris 'Okonta' Smalling, scored United's second goal of the day in a Zlantan-stic style. It was a beautiful goal.

Maybe, just maybe it was his new 'dada' (dreadlocks) hairstyling that inspired him. If that's it, we pray that no 'Delilah' will cut it.....More of that Smalling.

2. ROMELU 'TIMAYA' LUKAKU DESERVES KUDOS
Hate him or love him, United's 'Striker-in-chief' gets the job done. Like every other day, he gave his 100% again, gave Watford's defenders enough 'homework', and scored his 20th EPL goal for United.

He has scored goals with his head, left foot, right foot and has now added his tummy to the list. It's now 4 goals and counting for the big Belgian.

3. THIS NEW 'FELLANI PLAN'.
For the 2nd consecutive game, José has deployed 'Oga Fela' as a false center back to solidify his weak defence line. It worked pretty well against Burnley and worked today.

He was effective and iced the performance with the assist for Smalling. It appears 'Oga Fela' has a new job at Old Trafford.

4. ANONYMOUS ALEXIS
The wait for Alexis 'Balogun' Sanchez to shine will continue. Apart from his 1st half shot on goal, the Chilean had another anonymous game  and was guilty of losing possession.

5. DAVE-SAVES
The God-sent one, David 'Osinachi' De Gea resumed his Manchester United saving duties today with world class saves to deny Watford a point.

He was brilliant as usual and appears to have put his woeful world cup behind him.

IN THE END, it was a nervy end to the game which saw Nemanja 'Agu' Matic see his 1st red card in a United shirt. Thankfully, another 3 points ended up in our bag.
