HUDDERSFIELD 0-2 UNITED: 5 Things We learnt As United Jumped the Huddersfield Hurdle.

Manchester United visited John Smith's Stadium and did what is described in Naija as 'Monkey De work, baboon De chop' as Huddersfield played beautifully while United scored beautifully thanks to a superb brace from Romelu 'Timaya' Lukaku.

These are the five things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from the win:

1. 13-MAN HUDDERSFIELD.

Despite taking an early lead, Manchester United showed the worst display in a long time. Not only did they make Huddersfield look like Hudders-Barca, it felt like they were playing with 13 men!!!
The complete take over of the midfield was painfully jaw dropping.

2. LIKE LONG BALL LIKE 'DRY PEPPER'

This long ball tactic aka 'lob-the-ball-to-Fellaini/Lukaku' is becoming more and more painful to watch.

Today, United's play felt like dry pepper sprayed into my eyes; no constructive play, no style, just long balls!!
Apart from the goals (which were the only two shots on target), nothing else happened.

3. V.A.R = VILLAGE ASSISTANT REFEREE

The Video Assisted Referee was used for the first time in a United game today. The decision to rule out Juan 'Bankole' Mata's goal however was beyond shocking.

It appears that they brought a Village Assistant Referee to the pitch  who found it difficult to draw a straight line, resulting in the goal being disallowed.

4. BAD DAY FOR ASHLEY YOUNG

The dressing room DJ had probably the worst game of his season. Nothing worked. Huddersfield's right winger and wing back kept 'doing him Sulè' (nutmeg).

He Contributed nothing going forward. The only good move he made in the game was the assist for Mata which was ruled out by the Village Assistant Referee.

5. FANTASTIC LUKAKU

United's Striker-in-chief, Romelu 'Timaya' Lukaku was brilliant today. He was probably the only reason why the game was 'watch-able'.
Good hold up play, good passing vision and precise finishing of the only two chances of the day to score his 20th and 21st goal of the season.....Clearly today's Man of the match .

IN THE END, Despite the win, it was a very poor display from United largely due to the poor co-ordination from the Carrick-led midfield. Thank God the '2-Something' scoreline was in our favour.

UP NEXT, Sevilla; Same time, Same station, on Wednesday.

 GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.
