LIKELY STARTING XI vs MANCHESTER CITY AFTER LATEST INJURY UPDATE

Manchester United are set to go into an epic 'face-me-I-face you' battle with noisy neighbours, Manchester City, with 3 massive points at stake for both teams. The match sees City and United go into the match at 1st and 2nd respectively, after enjoying near perfect starts to their 2017/2018 season.

In line with the customs and traditions of the land, José 'Uchenna' Mourinho held a press conference on Friday, where he dished out the latest team news alongside injury updates for the battle of Manchester.

According to the boss, the Reds are set to welcome Phil 'Osaze' Jones back to first team action, alongside Pa Zlatan 'Ekwueme' Ibrahimovic and Nemanja 'Agu' Matic, as they have all been passed fit for the clash.

There will be a late fitness test for 'Oga Fela' to determine how much he can participate, if at all, but the game has come too soon for our commissioner of defence, Eric 'Olusegun' Bailly and Pa Michael 'Jeje' Carrick, as they remain sidelined with injuries.

With all these in mind, here's how we expect the boss to line up his starting XI.
