UNITED 4-1 NEWCASTLE. 5 THINGS WE LEARNT AS UNITED NEUTRALISED NEWCASTLE.

Manchester United played a game against Newcastle which can best be described using a popular Naija saying that "No be who first call Police dey win case".

Here are five things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from this game.

1. PAUL 'IKENNA' POG-BACK
United's Swaggerful and Swaggerlicious French midfielder returned to the starting XI after 2 months out.

Pogba came back and gave a FANTA-stic assist; Pogba returned and scored a MIRINDA-stic goal; Pogba came back and Smalling scored; Pogba came back and Lukaku ended his 7-match goal Harmattan; Pogba came back and Manchester United  became FOUR-chester United again.
Indeed, he is POG-BACK!!!!

2. LUKE 'AJEBOTA' SHAW IS IN TROUBLE
United's dressing room DJ, Ashley Young was once again brilliant at left back. He has made it his own. He kept putting in crosses with sweet aroma into the box and indeed Smalling converted one of them.

At this rate, Shaw may have a really hard time getting his place back......

3. SOME IMPROVEMENT FROM THE SWEDE.
United's struggling defender Victor Lindelof was given a place in the starting XI following a late injury to Eric 'Olusegun' Bailly.

He would have had a good score for his performance today, if not for the 'Ogbolo soup' incidence that led to the 1st goal. He is still struggling but today wasn't so bad.....We hope that one day he would truly become our 'Jollof' defender.

4. STILL NO TREQUARTISTA
José dropped Mikhi (to the delight of fans), started our 'whiz-kid' Marcus 'Rashidi-Yekini' and 'Ikechukwu' Martial together, and gave Mata the Trequartista role.

Mata like Mikhi struggled in that role, forcing Mourinho to move him out wide again and play Marcus 'Rashidi-Yekini' there instead.
United urgently need a No 10, and of course a proper right winger.

5. LONG TIME NO SEE SWAG
Aside from the 1st part of the 1st half, United played today  like the team that started the season with free-to-air distribution of 4 goals per team.

There was swag, there was drive, there were chances, and there were a few smiles on the faces of players. The icing on the cake was Romelu 'Timaya' Lukaku's goal which he scored with 'vex'.

IN THE END,  Newcastle fans had hoped to pour 'San-San' into our Old Trafford unbeaten run 'garri' after Gayle's opener, but United  had the last laugh.
It was good to see Zlatan 'Ekwueme' Ibrahimovic back in action after 6 months and 29 days.

UP NEXT, Basel; Same time,Same Station on Wednesday. Stay Tuned to ManUtdNaijaFM.
