MANCHESTER UNITED "WHIZ-KID" SECURES AWARD FROM 'NOWHERE'.

Manchester United "Whiz-kid", Marcus "Rashidi-Yekini" has been awarded 3rd position for European Golden boy 2017. He was voted 3rd best under-21 player of the year behind Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele.

The beauty of this award for Rashford was that he was not in the final 3-man shortlist which had Mbappe, Dembele, and Gabriel Jesus. And then from nowhere, the young lad overthrew Gabriel Jesus, and secured the 3rd position award....very sweet overthrow indeed.

So far in his Manchester United career, he has become a debut "chairman" after scoring in his Premier league, UEFA Champions league, Europa League, and English League cup debuts.

To add "palm wine to the bush meat", he scored the winning goal in his 1st Manchester Derby, and is the youngest English player to score in his 1st senior  International game.

Mbappe scooped the award with 291 voting points, while Dembele and Rashford notched 149 and 79 points respectively.

Congratulations to our own "whiz-kid". More Groundnut oil to your elbow.... May more of your dreams come true in the Theatre of Dreams.
