SWANSEA 0-2 UNITED: 5 THINGS WE LEARNT AS UNITED SWALLOWED SWANSEA AGAIN

Manchester United visited Swansea, one of her best "customers" this season and dropped 2 goals again, making 6 in total this season. These are 5 things Man Utd NaijaFM learnt:

1. IT WAS JESSE "AWILO" LINGARD'S NIGHT.
After collecting enough bashing from from fans over the weekend, Lingard did some "Abracadabra" and turned in one of his best ever performances, scoring his first brace for United with two fantastic goals.

It was obvious that what excited him the most was that he was finally able to display the latest dance he had been practicing.... The guy is a dancer indeed. Man of the match.

2. LINDELOF OOOH
Despite being "padded" with Smalling and Tuanzebe in a 3-4-3 formation, Lindelof constantly struggled whenever United defended...he made every Swansea attacker look like Cristiano Ronaldo.

He seems like a fine player, but doesn't have to tenacity of a defender....Please, by 'fire by force', Bailly and Jones have to be fit against Tottenham. Any attempt or group of attempts to play him and Smalling on that day,...... Hmmmmm

3. DARMIAN WAS AT HOME ON THE RIGHT
For the 1st time in a long while, Matteo "Sambo" Darmian had a good game, icing the cake with a lovely assist for Lingard's 2nd goal.

Darmian was played on the right which indeed is his comfort zone. He felt at home. Unfortunately, even if he scored a hatrick, Valencia will remain United's number one right back.

4. THE KIDS WERE FANTASTIC
Looking ahead to Tottenham, the boss rested 1st team players and gave the "Kindergarten" boys Tuanzebe and McTominay a chance in the starting XI, They grabbed the chance like children given "Bobo drink".

Tuanzebe was confident and solid in DEFENCE while also playing out from the back, and McTominay was dazzling in central midfield alongside Herrera....To add "Indomie" to the matter, they were both involved in the build up to both goals.

5. IS MATIC HERRERA'S PROBLEM?
Playing without Matic today, Ander "Akinbode" Herrera who seems to have been struggling this season, had arguably his best game.

He was more like the "Akin" that United fans fell in love with last season and contributed significantly to both the attacking and defensive phases of United's game. Mourinho needs to solve the Matic-Hererra combo 'wahala' and get the best out of their pair.

IN THE END, with a good game, good scoreline, and a clean sheet again for Mr "Odeshi" Sergio Romero, our able deputy "Goalkeeper-in-chief", United have progressed to the Quarter-final of the Carabao Cup.

UP NEXT, Tottenham. Same time, Same Station, on Saturday.
