HUDDERSFIELD 2-1 UNITED: FIVE(5) MATTERS ARISING AS HUDDERSFIELD HURT UNITED

Manchester United  played a match to forget against newly promoted side Huddersfield. Here are five Matters Arising after this loss.

1. THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MATCH DAY NINE(9)
Today was match day 9, and Manchester United lost painfully to Huddersfield, ending their unbeaten run.

Same time last season (match day 9), United lost awfully to Chelsea in that embarrassing 4-0 defeat.
What is it with Mou and Match day 9?

2. VICTOR LINDA-LOF
Judging by his performance today, it may be safe to advise that the Swede should go and look for another occupation. He came on in the 23rd minute, was at fault for the goals conceded by United, and then ended the match without making a single tackle or interception.

Lindelof may consider following the footsteps of Linda Ikeji, starting up blogging as his primary occupation.

It's also quite unfortunate that he delivered this kind of performance when Marcus 'Odegbami' Rojo is a week away from his official injury return.

In the end, we still have to exercise some patience with the lad, as he's not the first to come into the English game and struggle in his first season. We had all written Marcos Rojo off less than a year ago afterall.

3. LINGARD IS JUST AN 'AWILO' DANCER
Time and time again, Jesse 'Awilo' Lingard has shown to United fans that all he knows how to do is dance 'Awilo', 'Shorkee' and 'One-corner' dance whenever Someone (especially Pogba) scores.

He has been labelled a bright future for United, but it appears, that statement may be referring to his son..... Not good enough for the United team.

4. JONES HAS PROCEEDED ON HIS 'ANNUAL LEAVE '
Many fans had began to wonder if Phil 'Osaze' Jones had 'repented' from his usual injury holidays considering the number of consecutive games he has played this season.

Today, Jones left a hole when he limped off with a thigh injury, and Huddersfield dug the hole and harvested 2 goals to end our unbeaten run.

5. A POOR DAY AT THE OFFICE.
A summary of United's players' performance..*Opens dictionary* - Shambolic..Atrocious..Horrible..Arrant Rubbish. It seems they thought they were coming to do only CHIVITA advert today.

Mata's performance was a major Matter; it was another "shaky-shaky daddy" performance from Smalling, Magic-Mhki sent in to change the game did absolutely nothing!!

Overall, the team performance was poor, with no got of team cohesion in sight. Their play was reminiscent of the popular Naija song, "every Aboki with him kettle".

IN THE END, It was a sad loss, and indeed a wake-up call for Manchester United. We need Bailly and Rojo back more than ever before...Any attempt to pair Smalling and Lindelof again,...... Hmmmmmm.

Up next, Swansea City on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup...Stay tuned to ManUtdNaijaFM.
