United 4-0 Everton: 5 Things We Learnt As United Evaporated Everton

It was another beautiful Sunday evening at Old Trafford as Manchester United escorted Everton home with four bags of goals.
Although United played poorly for most of the game, it ended as a game of "Monkey de work, baboon de chop".
Here are five(5) Things #ManUtdNaijaFM Learnt today:

1. A SUNDAY NEEDS A "HOSANNA" GOAL.
United's captain of the day, Antonio" Dede-One-Way" Valencia scored a goal which can only be described as a "Hosanna" goal. Such goals are only scored on Sundays!!... Goal of the season contender for sure!

2. OGA FELA 'KISSED'
In the absence of Paul "Ikenna" Pogba, Oga 'Fela' was handed a starting place in central midfield. Simply put, HE PLAYED SAFE. No creativity, no extra-curricular passes, or risks. He just Kept It Short & Simple(K.I.S.S).

Pogba was missed but Oga Fela deserved kudos considering that in time past, when playing against Everton, he always seemed too charged up, and usually ended up playing poorly.

3. A  CEILING FAN DISPLAY
Aside Valencia's goal, Manchester United played started slowly . The team played sluggishly, there were too many wrong decisions, missed chances and lazy passes flying over the pitch.

. Another 1-1 scoreline aroma was filling the Old Trafford stadium until the final 10 minutes(Fergie time), when United like a ceiling fan, achieved maximum speed and sliced off Everton with 3 goals.

Kudos however to the players for a allowing Rooney to go off before the finishing move.

4. THE SUPER-SUB DRAMA CONTINUED
As it has been throughout this season, Mourinho's subs once again, did the magic. Lingard got an assist for Lukaku, and Martial assisted himself for his penalty which he dispatched with superb confidence.

5. OUR "WHIZ-KID" WAS NOWHERE
Marcus "Rashidi-Yekini" arguably had his worst game in a United shirt. The young lad just never got it right throughout the game, despite playing in his favoured right inside-forward role.

He clearly struggled, but thank God it didn't matter as the hymn on the lips of fans is" Another Four-zero".

IN THE END, a keke-na-pep display ended with a Toyota Tundra scoreline....But who cares? Victory is Sweet.

This certainly wouldn't be complete without special "Gboza" to David "Osinachi" De Gea who has been 'Saving United since 1800' and Nemanja 'Agu' Matic who again popped up with another jaw-dropping display.
