United 4-0 WestHam. Five Things We Learnt As United Hammered the Hammers.

Old Trafford was lighted up this afternoon with the 1st home game of the season which saw United hammer the Hammers 4-0 in a thrilling encounter. Here are five (5) things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt today.

1. HIS NAME IS ROMELU "TIMAYA" LUKAKU
United's new 'Striker-in-chief' gave his bad bele people something to ponder with the best of debuts - a superb brace filled with aggressive running of channels and hunger for more.

His poor hold-up play was however exposed. But who cares, I'd choose 30 goals over fantastic hold-up play anytime. More goals to your boots!!!

2. NEMANJA "AGU" MATIC LOOKS AWESOME IN RED.
The £40m ex-Chelsea man was Fanta bulbous, Coke-abulous and Sprite-abulous. He did everything - excellent break-up play, forward passing, man marking, etc.
He actually deserved the credit for the 1st goal.
If he continues this way, remind me to send a 'thank you' bottle of Chelsea Dry Gin to Antonio Conte.

3. BLIND WAS FIRED UP
Daley "Ifeanyi" Blind played with his heart and soul today, contributing to the attack and defending well.

He looked charged up like someone who had a shot of Schnapps before coming.... Narrowly missed that volley to ice the performance with a goal.

4. BRING-BACK-OUR-MARTIAL

Anthony "Ikechukwu" Martial came on as a substitute and dazzled, scoring a goal and giving one assist...in 13 minutes. The French man clearly needs more game time.
... Oh and to all "Bush radio" news linking him to an exit from United, you better stop the 'rough play'.

5. GOOD DAY AT THE OFFICE
It was a good day for most of the players, with Magic-Mkhi getting 2 assists, and our 'whiz-kid', Marcus "Rashidi-Yekini" getting one assist and almost breaking the cross bar with a thunderous strike(though he wasted some great chances)

Paul "Ikenna" Pogba, the £89million man finally iced the cake with his 89th minute shot.

IN THE END, It was a good way to kick off the Premier league season- 4 goals, clean sheet, top of the table. It was also good seeing Chicharito today... felt like we had 12 men on the pitch.
 May the glory days return.

UP NEXT, SWANSEA. SEE YOU SAME TIME, SAME STATION ON SATURDAY... Stay tuned to ManUtdNaijaFM.
