SIX(6) REASONS WHY 'THE LITTLE PEA' IS WHAT MAN UNITED NEED.

In the midst of all the transfer 'Amebo' gists from all corners of the football world, and the daily "Morata is 'NEARLY ALMOST' a United player" news, we analyse and give six(6) reasons why all we need might just be staring at us right in the face in Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez aka Little Pea..

(1) A PROVEN GOAL GETTER
Without wasting time, we drop his CV.
-Mexico's highest goal scorer of all time with 48goals.

-28 goals in 21 games for boyhood club, Guadalajara.

-Fifth best goal to game ratio in EPL history ahead of the likes of Harry Kane, Luis Suarez and even Robin Van Persie(despite coming in as a substitute in 69 of his 145 (48%) games).

-8 goals in 25 appearances for Real Madrid, despite having 17 of those appearances off the bench.

-34 goals in 68 games for Bayer Leverkusen, 5 of those scored in his first 6 UCL games in his debut season.

(2) A DIFFERENCE MAKER.
Jose Mourinho summarised United's 2016/2017; “We were very dominant. It would be a football crime if we lose the game. But I’m not happy because I don't  understand how we miss so many chances every game.”........after United's draw with Stoke.

With United's attackers being guilty of being make up artists last season, dressing up goal scoring chances like they were celebrating a traditional wedding on the pitch, we'll have a striker who wastes no time in burying chances, hunting for
goals with flawless positioning and ruthless finishing.

(3) A MAN FOR THE BIG GAMES
Javier struck fear in the minds of top rivals while in the EPL, earning a reputation for showing up at the vital moments to steal the points in big games against rivals.

Chicharito left the EPL with a tag of being the nemesis of our 'bad bele' rivals Chelsea, having scored 6goals in 9 games against them.

(4) EPL PROVEN
In Javier Hernandez, we will waste no time worrying about how much of a good fit he'll be for the league.

Javier Hernandez knows the EPL in and out as he is a two time league champion. Most of all, he knows the traditional 'never say die' United way, as he built a reputation in his first United spell for gifting United all 3 points on countless occasions, with late victory sealing goals, when hope seemed lost.

(5) 'JUMIA BLACK FRIDAY' PRICE
The story of the transfer window thus far has involved clubs seeking outrageous prices for their players, with clear examples being Romelu Lukaku being touted as a £90m, Mbappe Kylian who has played less than 60 games in his career being & £110m.

In Chicharito however, United will only need to pay £15m - £20m to seal his return, as he has a year left on his Bayer Leverkusen contract.

(6) MARCUS "RASHIDI'S" DEVELOPMENT
For all Rashford's amazing developmental rate so far, he still lacks the positioning and continuous run of games in the centre to make him the goal scoring complete forward we wish he'll be.

He won't get a better mentor for positional awareness in the box than our very own Little Pea, if he returns to the Old Trafford fold.

At the same time, Chicharito is one who most likely won't mind sharing game time with the teenager, coined from the fact that he has always been very much of a super-sub.

ManUtdNaijaFM VERDICT -  Call me greedy, but I would most definitely love to see Javier Chicharito Hernandez wear the United red again this season, even if the Morata deal ends up successful.

United needs Goals, GOals, GOALS  fired in from all angles, and recruiting two goal scorers should be a welcome idea.
