Started off very well, then went on a drought which hit United hard, as he was heavily relied upon to chip in with the goals for the team. However, he recovered greatly, going on a scoring streak which earned him United's player of the month award as well as the EPL player of the month award for December(the only United player to earn this all season).
Had his very bad days though, wasting a host of clear cut chances in crucial games.
He was voted as the third best player of the season at United, as well as earning a nomination for the PFA player of the year.
