Arsenal 2-0 United. FIVE THINGS WE LEARNT AS ARSENE 'MUGABE' WENGER DID IT.

At the Emirates Stadium today, Manchester United slumped to a defeat for the 1st time in 28 games. Here are Five (5) things we learnt.

1. ARSENAL GOT THEIR "DO ME, I DO YOU" POUND OF FLESH
After Arsenal's longest unbeaten run of 49 games in 2004 ended in the hands of Manchester United, they chose today to get their pound of flesh by ending United's unbeaten run of 28 games....Sad day indeed.

2. NEGATIVE TACTICS ENDED IN POOR PLAY
Jose Mourinho set up his team with a rather defensive approach today, keeping a low midfield and defence line. This gave Arsenal so much respect which they gladly capitalised on. United remained on the back foot throughout the game.

3. ROONEY HAD THE CHANCE
On a day like this when United played poorly, the few and indeed best chances of the day fell to our dear captain who was unsurprisingly found wanting.  He missed glorious chances including a " back pass" gift by Rob Holding.
Sad to say this: He is a legend, but if he must remain at the club he may have to be restricted to CHIVITA ADVERTS ONLY!!!

4. NO BAILLY, NO ROJO AND UNITED CONCEDED TWO GOALS.
The absence of the two defence Caterpillars Bailly and Rojo was felt today as  United conceded more than one goal in the EPL for the 1st time since October. The centre back pairing may be excused as they just returned from injuries.....Match rustiness maybe.

5. TOP-FOUR OBITUARY NOTICE
"With gratitude for the time well spent in the EPL struggle, We regret to announce the likely untimely death of our top -four hopes". Fortunately,  he is survived by Europa league aka "backyard door" .....All roads lead there now!!!!

.....IN THE END, United had no answers to Arsenal today. However, this cannot end without giving Kudos to the young lad Tuanzebe, who kept Sanchez in his pocket for most of the game. He handled the uphill task with some "Swagger'.
UP NEXT, CELTA VIGO,  SAME TIME, SAME STATION, ON THURSDAY.

Glory Glory Man United. ....OLUWA IS INVOLVED.
