MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 SWANSEA CITY: WHAT WE LEARNT.

It was another familiar frustration at the "New Draw-fford Stadium" as once again Manchester United failed to grab an opportunity to go 3rd on the Premier league table. The team should however be given some slack; 9 games in April with 8 injuries isn't a joke.  Here's what we learnt today:

1. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERRERA FOR ROONEY.

Considering the recent slump in form of Captain Wayne Rooney, Herrera should have been given the No 10 role while Rooney pairs with Carrick in the 4-2-3-1 set up. The goal aside, Rooney once again struggled causing United to keep a low midfield line.

2. ARE LUKE SHAW'S LEGS MADE OF 'MOI-MOI" (BEAN CAKE)?
From the Days of LVG , his fitness has always had a question mark tag. The young man, got injured again today to the frustration of Mourinho and fans. What is the problem???

3. ANTHONY "IKECHUKWU" MARTIAL HAD A GOOD GAME
The £36million man continued his recent renaissance. He was a constant thorn in the flesh of the Swans. He was however at the wrong place at the wrong time, blocking Rooney's goal bound shot.

4. ASHLEY YOUNG IS A GREAT ASSET.
The dressing room DJ has been a fantastic backup in recent weeks in nearly all positions. He started off as a right back and ended as a left back today. In both positions, he was fantastic for the team, tackling, and creating chances.

5. A DANCER AND A RUNNER, BUT NOT A FOOTBALLER.
Jesse 'Awilo' Lingard once again today offered nothing to the side apart from his pair of legs running round the pitch without the ball. United may have to consider sending him for the next Olympics.......It may be his true calling.

.....IN THE END, another dissapointing 2 points dropped. The "sadder" news however is that, there is CRISIS at United as there is no centre-back in the squad following Bailly's injury. Mourinho may need to hit the gym as promised. (He actually looks like he will make a good defender!!!). UP NEXT, Celta Vigo; SAME TIME, SAME STATION, ON THURSDAY.
