Rostov 1-1 Manchester United : Five things we learnt

1. MAFIAS WILL BE MAFIAS
The physical nature of the game was not surprising, considering we played against Russian 'Mafias'. Even soft Mikhi
gave an elbow jab.

2. THE PITCH WAS THE STAR OF THE DAY.
The Rostov home pitch sent everyone to Memory lane. Fans remembered their secondary schools, street pitches,...etc. But honestly it looked like a pitch close to my house that is often shared by the footballers and grazing cows.

3. BORING,BORING,BORING
The ball spent more time on the heads of the players than on the ground. Felt like a heading competition. It was a game that had Van Gaal written all over it.

4. ROJO SHOULD NEVER PLAY LEFT BACK AGAIN
The Argentine was in excellent form in Russia with vital clearances, interceptions and a commanding presence . His best games come whenever he plays as a centre back. Mikhi's goal aside, He was my Man of the match.

5. POGBA
The £89million man arguably had one of  his worst games in a United shirt. He may need to consider changing his hairstyle. He hasn't scored or assisted since he changed to this blonde hair.

......IN THE END, a poor display but a  great result with an away goal in hand. The lineup clearly showed Mou isn't joking with the Chelsea game. Happy birthday to Daley Blind. Next up,Chelsea. GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED.
