Middlesbrough 1-3 Manchester United: WHAT I LEARNT

1. LINGARD IS NOT JUST AN 'AWILO' DANCER.
Jesse Lingard proved today that his only duty at United is not to dance "Awilo" when Pogba scores. Brilliant performance, creative, full of pace and determination. Arguably his best performance in a United shirt, capped with that brilliant goal, his first league goal in 13months. Man of the match.

2. SURVIVOR SERIES
With all d odds stacked against United today due to the absence of the commander in chief of the attack forces, Zlatan "Ekwueme" Ibrahimovic, their best tackler in Herrera, and chief creator Paul Pogba, United survived with a convincing scoreline. Kudos to Rojo's banana peel for doing the magic on Valdez.

3. THE AFRO MAN ISN'T GIVING UP.
Fellaini gave the boss more reasons to keep him involved in the frame of the first team. Opened the scoring with that header, was also all over the pitch winning aerial and surface duels. A very decent elbowless performance, what a day!

4. MARCUS RASHFORD IS TODAY'S LOGO
Incase you've missed Manchester United's 2016/17 season so far, Marcus Rashford's performance today symbolised it all; won his battles against the Middlesbrough centre backs, full of pace and purpose but seriously lacking an end product. Needs to rediscover that finishing touch.

5. SMALLING NEEDS A VACATION TO BENCH ISLAND.
Our captain and oldest centre back showed again why he should be the captain of the bench. Had a torrid time handling Negredo, ending up gifting Middlesbrough a fantastic assist to score. Probably needs to be given Rojo's banana boost!

.....IN THE END, the 6th position "Bruhaha " is over. The baton has been passed on to our 'babe'- Arsenal......Up next, West Brom; SAME TIME, SAME STATION, after the International break.
GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!
