Oh how I hate international breaks. They starve fans of football - filled weekends and force us to surrender remote controls all over the world to 'Papa Ajasco' and 'Telemundo' fans.
To add insult to injury, there is hardly an international break that goes by without key players returning with injuries.
For Manchester United, it's been an up and down March. From crashing out of the FA cup at the hands of 'bad bele' rivals Chelsea, to losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to suspension, to Rojo getting a banana boost on the field and then to beating Middlesborough comfortably to finally climb out of 6th.
Latest reports now claim that Chris Smalling, who personally injured Phil Jones is now also injured and has been sent back to Manchester for further treatment. All these blows have all been delivered in the same international break, what a wicked world.
Let's keep the hope alive though, this could turn out to be the chance for fringe players to stake their claims for permanent roles in the side.
Until then, GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!
