Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United: WHAT I LEARNT

1. A DISPLAY TO BE PROUD OF.
United may have lost, but indeed the  Never-say-die attitude of the boys was fantastic. United came as the disadvantaged side and despite further  going 1-man down, fought the good fight of "faith".

2. MICHAEL OLIVER WAS THE MAN-OF-THE-MATCH.
The cute-looking ref famous for showing red cards to the reds, spoilt a beautiful game game of football. With it without the red card, Chelsea may have won, but that was simply adding stew to "Jollof rice".

3. MOU CAME WITH WITH A TRUCK LOAD OF DEFENDERS.
Understanding his disadvantaged position, Mou set up with with a 5-3-2 formation, using Ashley Young to switch to a 6-3-1 when defending. Most of the players especially Mikhi struggled to cope with the new formation.

4. DE GEA, SAVING UNITED SINCE 1800
Once gain, the young Spaniard had his magnet gloves on, making crucial saves which kept United in the game. Pity, it didn't count in the end. He was amazing again......Valencia and Rojo also deserve special "Tuales".

5. MARCUS 'RASHDI-YEKINI' DESERVES KUDOS.
Our own United "wizkid', put his health on the line today to play for the team. Though isolated for most times due to United's deep defensive and midfield lines, he gave a good account of himself, having been denied a beautiful goal by Coutois.

........IN THE END, it was a loss, but everyone gave their all. If Chelsea wasn't the chairman of our ' bad bele ' rivals, this game wouldn't have been a concern.  Let's face the most important trophy of the season ; the Europa league cup. Up next, Rostov FC same time, same station on Thursday.
