Manchester United captain, Wayne Roomey has quenched all speculation linking him with a move away from the club before next week, when the transfer window of the Chinese 'super money' league closes.
Although he became Manchester United's record goal scorer this season with that beautifully struck free kick at Stoke, Rooney has been mostly watching Manchester United's progress from the sides this season, due to his poor form and massive decline in footballing abilities. This has seen him register just 2 league goals this season and a handful of assists.
We do hope this is a statement of intent signalling that he wants to stay strong and fight tooth and nail to bring back our real Wazza, else, it's just going to be just Mikel Obi syndrome for him; bench class captain time.
Kudos to Wazza for rejecting the most mouth-watering temptation of modern football.
