Arsenal 1-3 United: 5 Things We Learnt As United Dumped Arsenal

It was the biggest 'exam' so far for Solskjaer, as United went away to the Emirates for the 4th round FA cup clash.
The ex baby-faced assassin came out with a distinction as United thrashed Arsenal 3-1 in style.

Here are 5 things ManUtdNaijaFM learnt from this clash:

1. GOOD DAY AT THE OFFICE.
Romelu 'Timaya' Lukaku and Alexis 'Balogun' Sanchez were given a start in the attack and they were brilliant.
Romelu became a  goal 'importer and exporter' as he provided 2 beautiful assists for Lingard and Alexis.

Alexis on the other hand scored a 'Malta-Guinness-I-feel-good' goal at his former ground!.....Great day at the office indeed.

2. THE OLD SCHOOL
United scored two traditional counter attack goals very well known in the old Manchester United culture.
The counter attacking moves were reminiscent of the days of Rooney-Ranaldo-Tevez, Scholes-Giggs-Nilsterooy, etc.

In his playing days, in 1997, Solskjaer himself finished a similar counter-attack move against Arsenal. Kudos to Luke Shaw and Pogba for the great runs today that kick-started the counter attacks.

3. ABLE AND CAPABLE DEPUTY.
Sergio 'Odeshi' Romero got the backing of the manager to start in such a big game in place of the world's best goalkeeper, De Gea.

As usual, he proved himself to be the ever reliable 'Power bank' goalkeeper as he made some very crucial and great saves to keep United in the game.

4. ANDER 'AKINBODE' HERERRA.
The baby-faced midfield warrior has been impressive for  OGS who clearly know his 1st choice midfield trio.

Amongst the three of them(Matic-Hererra-Pogba), he has been the engine room, making great tackles and interceptions, driving forward with passes and buzzing all over the place. It's great to see him back in the 1st team as he is a fans favourite.

5. GREAT SUBSTITUTION MOVE
With United leading 2-1 in the 2nd half, unlike what fans had become used to, OGS brought in Martial and Rashford.

Besides Martial's goal, this move won the game for United. Arsenal could not come all out to attack as they would have loved to, as the midfield and defence had to deal with the fresh fast-paced legs.

IN THE END, it was a great night at the Emirates. Kudos to the solid defender, LINDELOF who was 'Coke-astic' again with 100% tackles and aerial duels won.

3-1 against Arsenal at the Emirates in the Emirates cup is the matter of the moment.
